Promoting the release of his newest LP “A Different H-Art” Illien Rosewell ventured to New York. Scheduled to meet The Source Magazine’s Style Sector Producer – Venus Rose. Rosewell made his way to Manhattan, NY’s SneakEZ Shop. Waiting to begin his interview Rosewell began browsing the shop as always, looking to promote independent fashion and add to his wardrobe. Rosewell was seemingly impressed by the SneakEZ brand. Recanting on the interview with Venus Rose, Rosewell recalls the interview flowed smoothly. Stating that “Venus was easy to talk” Rosewell says he enjoyed speaking and trading experiences with her. Describing The Style Sector Producer as laid back and down to earth. Rosewell remembers her as “a cool person, good vibes”.

Following the interview Rosewell shot photos for the Source and a few personal ones of his own. Staying to speak with Sneakez Shop owner Kyle, (also referred to as “Sneak”) Rosewell expressed his interest in the brand. He would later receive a few items of brand apparel and exchange information with Sneak to discuss further ventures. Post interview Rosewell traveled to Brooklyn, NY to meet up with Quinton Williams and Chadon Charles at Drink lounge. There they shot new visuals for “A Different H-Art” with Christian Lovechild to be released at a later date. Scouting for the perfect location New York,Rosewell visited Times Square for optics, mingling with New Yorkers in the process to help promote the album. Rosewell’s interview with Source Magazine’s Venus Rose was published 14 March 17 titled “On The Rise: Illien Rosewell Interview + New Video, Queen”. The editorial features Rosewell the artist and debuts the premiere of “A Different H-Art” lead single Queen featuring Young Money Yawn.
